WKSJ-02 ARGINT
An orthopanchromatic monochrome LUT built for precise chromatic definition and responsive tonal separation.
ARGINT converts color into distinct gray relationships rather than treating similar brightness as equivalent tone. Red becomes the densest principal family through the range where chromatic discrimination carries the greatest authority, while blue remains dark but clearly separated. Magenta, green, cyan and yellow occupy progressively different positions across the monochrome scale.
Its response changes with luminance, saturation and channel mixture. Chromatic differences become more pronounced through the central tonal range, where they can preserve definition between neighboring colors, then gradually yield to luminance toward deep shadows and bright highlights. This keeps the conversion responsive to the image instead of imposing a fixed tonal hierarchy across every condition.
Shadows remain compact and progressive, lower midtones carry mineral density, and highlights move into a controlled shoulder with restrained whites. ARGINT derives its clarity from tonal discrimination rather than spatial sharpening or exaggerated contrast, and adds no grain, halation or local image effects.
